It’s like “Inside the Station” has become a classic already. Almost two years after its release, this track just made it on the very cool and super sexy compilation of the This Is Paris magazine. Click on the image below to dowbload the whole compilation for free.

When I decided to include some covers in our live set, the first song that came to my mind was Andy McCoy’s “Strung Out”. When I was 18, I used to listen to this song up to 40 times a day, because it made me happy. The challenge was to turn the Finnish rock guitar player’s song into a Slutterhousy thing; you decide if we pulled it off or not!

In any case, we have performed this song 3 times so far with Slutterhouse, and each time we did, I couldn’t help but tearing sometime after the first chorus. That’s how much this song means to me.

Enjoy both versions below: Andy McCoy’s original version, recorded in 1995. And Slutterhouse’s own live version, in Beirut, last December 2010.
